Gaisford Surf produces a range of quality surf rescue and sports related equipment that is used all over the world. Their existing site was dated and in urgent need of a fresh look that would reinvigorate the brand and remind the customer base of the quality and reputation of the products offered in an increasingly competitive market.
We strive to understand how our client’s businesses work to ensure their site’s focus on supporting their goals. So we spent time at the client’s workshop understanding the skills and craftsmanship that goes into producing each board or surf ski.
The individual is the brand here – so we emphasised this by referencing his experience in the business, his own prowess as a competitor & utilising some great shots of his equipment in use.
By developing custom enquiry forms, he can gather the key design parameters needed to design custom boards and skis, upload client’s artwork and speed up the process so that enquiries progress to sales more effectively.
The client was initially reluctant to explore or utilise the social networking features we recommended.
With some hands-on training from SeaDog IT, and having seen the benefits and the “free” advertising that these tools were generating, he has become a recent convert.
By developing an active social media strategy, he’s now driving more traffic to his site and generating sales enquiries from UK and European markets.
