As a large organisation wth a mission to engage, support and inform the congregation and community it serves, Knock needed a new website built from the ground up. We worked closely to build in features that focused on engagement and highlight the wide range or services they provide inside and outside their church.
How to build a church website without it looking “too churchy”? That key element of the brief informed our approach from beginning to end. By utilising photography that focused on their members having fun and combining that with a fresh new brand & logo, we were able to create a site that reflects their mission to engage adults, families & youth.
Their old site was non-responsive, cluttered & difficult to navigate so we designed a home page with intuitive links through to the key audience groups and services.
We used the new site to better integrate existing services – like their iPreacher podcasts and MailChimp based newsletter – and created new ones to take advantage of Twitter and Facebook.
This has helped develop their reach and push news and event information out to their members who don’t just rely on a website for information.
I know from our team who have been responsible for setting up our new website that Dave and his team were a pleasure to work with. From the start of the process they listened to and addressed our needs, both aesthetic & technical.
The site they produced for us has a clean, clear, contemporary feel and is easy to use. We would thoroughly recommend SeaDog IT to others thinking about their own website development.
