SeaDog IT Helps Neighbourhoods Plan!
St.Columb Major, Cornwall – a Town & Parish rich with heritage & potential. We’re thrilled to be helping their new resident-driven Neighbourhood Planning team with the digital tools needed to engage, inform & help build a better future for all!
We’ve worked with many Cornish Parish & Town councils over the last 8 years on similar projects. These projects have important differentiating factors & requirements from a Council managed website.
Whilst it is usually the local council that enables, encourages and facilitates the Neighbourhood Planning project, it is critical that the Neighbourhood Plan is “owned” by the local community.
As well as the website that will act as the focus point for information, meeting minutes and so forth, we will build and integrate other social media services to maximise engagement. Some of the “digital tools” we will deploy will include volunteer & skill-set sign up forms, dedicated email for “official” communications, online polling and survey support and training so their steering committee can use these services most effectively.
