The Festival has helped raise over £40,000 for good causes and charities - but having to rely on volunteers to keep their digital presence up to date was a struggle. We were delighted to help re-build the site, integrate their social media feeds more effectively and update the online ticket purchase process.
We completely re-designed this site with two fundamental objectives in mind – to make it easier for folks to order tickets. and to help the volunteers supporting this charity event maintain & update their site themselves.
We also re-styled their social media to the bring some continuity to their digital presence as well as integrating it into the site to help them push news out to these platforms. In combination with our in-house training, we have built a platform that has the flexibility to add more features as the event grows.
It was great to see ticket sales being processed through the site almost immediately after the new site went “live”!
Sometimes, it’s great to help out – and when an event or organisation is doing so much for local charities we will be creative in finding ways to cover our costs. In addition, with our contacts to local businesses, we will also encourage our partners and clients to help out where they can – whether through sponsorship or other forms of support.
By helping build sites that “just work”, we can help you get more footfall, tickets sold or volunteers signed up. If you’re interested in how we can help similar charitable groups or good causes just get in touch now.
Our charity Lions Beer Festival needed to have the website updated. SeaDog IT provided a very competitive quote & also offered our charity some additional mutually beneficial sponsorship options which we were grateful for. The quotation was detailed but not written in "IT speak" which meant identifying what we were getting was easy to follow. The design of the site was clean and tidy and the booking system and notifications plus emailing of electronic tickets to customers very effective. Overall, a very pleasant experience and a site which was built well within the timescale we were promised. We would happily recommend Dave and the SeaDog IT team.
