Met4Tech brings together world-leading researchers to maximise opportunities around the provision of technology metals from primary and secondary sources, and lead materials stewardship with the goal of creating a National Technology Metals Circular Economy Roadmap to accelerate us towards a circular economy.
To support the research vision & challenges in transforming the current linear system for supply of these critical raw materials into a new technology metals circular economy system and network for the UK, the team at the University of Exeter needed a platform / website that would give them a digital hub to update their news, progress and events, as well as providing a member-only information resource.
Our experience in providing all of these “must haves” allowed us to deliver just such a platform.
It’s critical that when we build websites for projects where the likelihood that developing initiatives, new phases and output roll out over the lifetime of the assignment that we are on hand to advise, edit and add new features as required.
For example, with this project, as new academic staff became involved – or project goals were met, we were able to train & advise new team members up on using their site to update news, add events to the calendar or page edits.
We found the SeaDog IT team very easy to work with, and they built us a great website that looks good and is efficient for our users, as well as easy for us to edit and update by ourselves. The design combines aesthetics and practicality perfectly. The experience overall has been excellent and we highly recommend SeaDog IT.
